We Bring the Experts to Your Laboratory!
Easy, Flexible, Cost Effective, Live Interaction with Microbiology Experts in our field, several times in one year.
Allow your busy microbiologists to effortlessly obtain hours of timely, job-related, ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® Program Continuing Education.
How do the SCACM Audio Conferences Work?
SCACM has scheduled several Experts to present 60 to 75 minutes of valuable information via recorded-telephone call, once at 12:00pm and again at 2:00pm Eastern Standard Time (Ohio) Time. Following each presentation, the Expert will remain on the line for a Live Question and Answer (Q&A) session. Job-related, Live interaction, several times during the year!
Using the primary and secondary emails that you provide on the registration form, we will send you details of each Expert presentation at least one week before the scheduled date so you can save a reminder to your calendar. A day or two before each call, we will email a link from which to download the Expert’s lecture slides & handouts, as well as the PACE continuing education documentation your microbiologists will use to record/submit for continuing education credits. Simply click on the link and save the files to your PC, Mac, iPad, Kindle, and even your smartphone. On the day of the call, you will follow the instructions to dial into the audio conference and follow the live operator’s instructions to ask your questions following the presentation. Any trouble? We’re an email or phone call away to assist you. It’s easy!
One week after the live call, we will post an audio recording of the Expert’s lecture and Q&A so those who missed the live call can download the recorded audio using this same emailed-link. Once audio is downloaded, anyone can view the Expert slides and/or listen to his/her valuable recorded information at another time, any number of times. The link to the materials will be available for one year. We’ll also send periodic reminder emails in case you’ve misplaced the link and/or wish to make the valuable information available to your microbiologists again. Those wishing to obtain PACE continuing education credits have up to one year from the live call date to submit the completed documentation. Timely and Flexible!
SCACM is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® Program.
