For years, Next Generation Sequencing has been successful deployed as a Clinical Research tool in Cancer and Germline Genetics but struggled to gain traction in Microbiology labs due to turn-around time, cost, and difficult computational requirements. New advances in sequencing technology and turn-key bioinformatics solutions now allow for development and implementation of LDT's at a cost and turnaround time to fit any laboratory workflow. .

During this presentation, the audience will learn:

• The content and design of Illumina’s Respiratory Pathogen and AMR panels for targeting and characterizing a broad range of Pneumonia causing pathogens
• Incorporation of Next Generation Sequencing into laboratory workflows to increase efficiency of respiratory pathogen detection
• Enablement and Deployment of turn-key bioinformatics solutions for creating pathogen reports.
