How do Attendees receive P.A.C.E.® Certificates? |
For webinars presented AFTER Jan 2023, Attendee submission for P.A.C.E.® credit:
The American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) manages the administrative system for continuing education known as Professional Acknowledgement for Continuing Education (P.A.C.E.). ASCLS offers an attendee "CE Organizer" program in which both ASCLS members and non-members can prepare a certificate and track their attendance. Data from this program can be automatically downloaded to the ASCP BOC Certificate Maintenance Program.
Event Instructions:
At some point near the end of each session, the moderator will announce a unique session code for that session. Record the session code number on the downloadable instruction form. Each attendee will need this number to get credit for attending the session.
Claim P.A.C.E. using ASCLS Organizer:
1. Go to http://ceorganizer.ascls.org/
2. Select either Member or Non-Member log-in box.
a. ASCLS Members: Log in using the same username and password as the Members Section.b. If you are not an ASCLS Member, and do not have an account in CE Organizer already, click the “Register Here” link to create a free account.
3. Once logged in, click on Claim Credit.
4. Select the tab Other P.A.C.E. Programs.
5. Scroll down to find 362 SCACM. Click on the “View Events” icon.
6. On the next screen check the boxes of every session for which you need to claim credit & click “Next.”
7. On the following screen enter the unique session code for each session and click “Next.”
8. Evaluate the sessions on the screen, then click “Complete Survey.”
9. On the Final screen you can download or print your certificate.
Deadlines:
Enter your session codes and print your certificate before December 31st. After that date, that year's session codes will no longer be valid, and CE cannot be claimed.
If you have questions or comments, please email the SCACM Continuing Education Team at ceu@scacm.org and Jason Wholehan, MLS(ASCP)CM or Carrie Anglewicz, M.S. will be happy to assist you.
SCACM is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS (P.A.C.E.® ) program.
For webinars presented BEFORE Jan 2023, Attendee submission for P.A.C.E.® credit:
