Cyberattacks on healthcare organizations are a growing threat and can have serious consequences for patients and healthcare providers. To limit the impact on patient care, laboratories need to define processes and procedures to be followed in the event of an extended downtime.

      OBJECTIVES:

        • Recognize the impact of a cyberattack on the healthcare system and patient care
        • Define processes and procedures for an extended downtime
